‘Valkyrie’ is a one-off remarkable hand crafted sculpture by Northumberland based sculptor Robin Fox.

A battle hardened winged warrior awaits instruction from Odin. A dreamlike strangeness casting a long shadow, a stretch in form and imagination.

Patinated bronze finish epoxy resin and steel, hand built over a steel armature and set into a fiery sandstone base. The base is stone and an oxidised steel disc. The stone is hand quarried from Ladycross Quarry in Northumberland, each piece shows intricate layers and fossil detail within. Robin carefully chooses the piece of stone he feels best enhances the piece.

This sculpture is intended for indoor use but could be situated outdoors under advisement. Please ask for further details.
