He is currently head of art at The Duston School in Northampton. He has a studio in the centre of Northampton where he mainly focuses on oil paintings of the Lake District from his own drawings and photos, which he has collected on his visits. He comes to Keswick around five times a year and is hoping to move up here after falling in love with the town and surrounding lakes and mountains.

As well as the Lake District, Mark also draws city scenes and life.
