A dynamic individually hand-built conker in mixed media (mixed armature and epoxy clay) with verdigris bronze finish and 23.75 carat gold leaf detail with polished yew nut and heather stalk. There is a piece of conker shell gilded in the same gold leaf. The conker is fixed to a charred (Shou Sugin Ban) monkey puzzle base. There’s a maker’s mark on the base with felt pads underneath.
