A beautiful, hand built abstract Barn Owl, posed with one leg raised, showing off those impressive talons!

This owl is built from mixed media, using epoxy resin with a textured verdigris and a burnished bronze and oxidised iron finish.

The owl has been built up in layers over a steel armature. It is standing on a piece of hand quarried Northumberland Sandstone from the Ladycross Quarry and Nature Reserve.

Makers mark on base.
