This is a small, beautiful ‘Hearts Box’ created by Maria Santos-Alcantara. A depiction of one large heart surrounded by hearts on pewter. Inside the box has 6 small compartments.

This box is handcrafted from the root of the Thuya tree before being expertly French polish finished to enhance the full character of this exquisite burr. It has a beautiful woody scent to it that fades with time. The top is made out of pewter, which has an enduring quality as it does not oxidise, meaning it requires no other care than an occasional dust.
